CLARKSVILLE Authorities in Johnson County say a woman has turned herself in for the slaying of her husband in January.
Thirty-nine-year-old Rogin Freeman is charged with first-degree murder for the Jan. 27 shooting death of 40-year-old George Freeman. She surrendered Friday.
Authorities say Freeman died after being shot once in the abdomen as the couple fought at their home located in the Lone Pine area, about five miles north of Clarksville.
Officials say there was no indication of a history of domestic abuse in the relationship. The investigation is continuing.
