2 bodies found in car near interstate in NLR

Arkansas State Police is investigating a double homicide after two bodies were found in an SUV by Interstate 40 in North Little Rock overnight.

The two bodies, that of a black man and a white woman, were found in a black ford Expedition by the interstate near Crystal Hill Road, according to reports.

The driver's side window of the Expedition was shattered. The woman was found behind the wheel of the vehicle, while the man was slumped over in the passenger seat.

Authorities investigating the deaths went to house on North Hills Boulevard in Sherwood concerning the case after the vehicle was traced to the home.

Officers arriving there found the door open.
