education news Jessieville seniors honored with golf scholarships

JESSIEVILLE — Two Jessieville High School seniors who have participated in the Hot Springs Village Junior Golf Program received $2,000 scholarships in honor of Junior Golf supporter and volunteer Art Strauch.
The two recipients are John Mark Pierce, a member of Junior Golf for eight years, who plans to attend Arkansas State University, and Alexander Joseph Wright, a six-year member of Junior Golf, who plans to attend National Park Community College.
The scholarships were provided by the Adult Golf Clinic, Walmart, Village Golf Associations, special tournaments and memorials and honorariums.
