Who should wear the American Idol crown this year? Adam Lambert or hometown favorite Kris Allen?

Let us know what you think by sharing your comments below, whether it be well wishes for Conway native Allen or if you're feeling like Lambert rocked the house in the finale last night.

Both singers performed three songs. The judges thought Allen "won" the first round, while Lambert secured the victory in the final two numbers.

What did you think of the final song that both finalists had to sing? Good, bad, worse than bad?

Whose album are you most likely to buy when it comes out?

Alternately, are you suffering from Idol fatigue and just ready for it all to be over?

Kris is fantastic. Close your eyes and listen to both singers with an open ear, heart, and mind. I'm not crazy about guys w/ a falsetto voice who scream. I do like Adam's boldness in some of his song arrangements, and no doubt, he is a "performer."

Kris is pure and and has a talent for making you feel the songs he sings. Like Kara stated. I love his versions of AIN'T NO SUNSHINE & WHAT'S GOING ON.

Thank goodness the people get to vote b/c the judges can't decide from one week to the next if they want the singers to "be true to themselves & put their own slant on songs or they were too over the top, too soft, too safe, or just aight, as Randy says, if they try to stay close to the original.
...jeesh.

And, to say that Kris needs to knock off the modesty and humbleness act because it's boring or annoying (like it's a bad thing to be either), tells you that some folks just don't understand that someone can actually be that way and not have some hidden motive behind it.

All that to say this...I'm a native Arkansan. I've lived outside the state since 1994. My vote and support is going for KRIS ALLEN...you can take the person out of Arkansas but...you know the rest:) Either way, they'll both fare far better than most.
