Chicot Road temporarily closed

Little Rock Public Works Department will temporary close the 12800 block of Chicot Road at Castle Valley Road beginning 9 a.m. Friday through Saturday.
This street closure is necessary for replacement of an underground storm drainage structure. Chicot Road will be closed during the construction, and detours will be necessary. Little Rock officials say traffic traveling north on Chicot Road into town should detour to Geyer Springs Road via Green Road. Traffic traveling south out of town should use Geyer Springs via Mabelvale Cut-Off. Whenever possible small vehicle traffic will be allowed through the construction area via Bunch Road and Castle Valley Road, but larger trucks must use Geyer Springs. Motorists can expect delays.
