Citadel Broadcasting has called off its Summer Jam 2009 concert, citing circumstances out of its control in an anemic economy.

The hip hop show scheduled for June 19 at Alltel Arena was to feature Hurricane Chris and Pleasure P.

Tickets for the event can be refunded at the original point of purchase.
