Cowboy church celebrates one year anniversary

By The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

This article was published November 1, 2009 at 4:01 a.m.

— The Ridin’ On Faith Cowboy Church in Salem celebrated its one-year anniversary with an open house and pig roast Oct. 4. The church sponsored stick-horse races for young children and provided kid-friendly horses and a mule for kids of all ages to ride. There were a number of miniature horses, including the world’s smallest “mini.” Some of the activities included roping demonstrations, horseshoes and fellowship around a large outdoor cook site, along with Dutch-oven cooking demonstrations throughout the day.

Ridin’ On Faith Cowboy Church meets at 9:30 a.m. every Sunday for a full breakfast, followed by service at 10. For more information, contact Pastor Stuart Jones at (870) 258-3207 or (870) 373-1901 or e-mail him at stuart@crossheartranch.com or visit www. RidingOnFaith.org.
