Fire hits Main Street business in PB

Firefighters battled a blaze for nearly four hours at YNOT Charlie's restaurant on Main Street in downtown Pine Bluff early Tuesday morning.

The soul food restaurant and nightclub at 2nd and Main streets was destroyed. Stunned employees and patrons looked on as the structure burned.

According to reports, at least two other businesses were affected by the fire.

The 911 call was made at 6:22 a.m. Pine Bluff Title Company and Platinum Sports Bar and Restaurant had smoke and water damage, said Shauwn Howell, a spokesman for Pine Bluff Fire and Emergency Services.
