— Fifth graders are getting a treat in downtown North Little Rock and Little Rock.

Central Arkansas Transit, also known as “CAT,” plans a celebration Wednesday in downtown Little Rock to mark the fifth anniversary of the trolleys that circulate in Little Rock and North Little Rock. The celebration outside the Statehouse Convention Center will start shortly before noon when a trolley carrying 25 fifth-graders from the e-Stem Public Charter Middle School goes bursting through a large paper banner.

Also on the trolley will be officials from both cities, the transit agency and Pulaski County.
