Which is it? Does the King James Version merely contain "technical inaccuracies" as you say or is it so poorly translated that it is "sometimes quite meaningless" as stated by Chaim Raphael? I agree that the KJV is quite beautifully written, however, does accuracy (assuming the "original texts" used by the translators of the KJV were accurate)count for anything? Where does one draw the line? Doesn't the idea that there are portions of the KJV that are "meaningless" concern you? And even if the KJV merely contains "technical inaccuracies" just how many of these "technical inaccuracies" can the text contain before it is just plain "inaccurate"? If the Truth of the Word of God is what we seek how are we to find that Truth in a poorly translated text? Are you saying it is style that matters?
