Will a victory over Northern Arizona make Ole Miss bowl eligible? I gathered that only one Football Championship Series victory could be counted toward bowl eligibility and they already have one. If only one of those victories count, and if they have to be at least .500 to be eligible, 50% of 11 games would be 5-1/2; hence they would have to have 6 wins not counting one of the two smaller college victories.

With the U. of A. spending $10-20 million to upgrade their facilities , dont you think its time to upgrade the football and basketball announcers. Chuck Barrett may be a good baseball announcer , but not so much in football. And Keith Jackson is an embarrassment -in my opinion-the way he butchers the English language.U. of Oklahoma should have required him to go to English classes, to get a degree. And his standup comedy routine has gotten old also.U. of A. and the S.E.C. are big time, and we need better announcers.Mike Nail is way overdue to quit, and Paul Eeals should have quit a couple of years before his accident.

nabub, I would bet you are one of those "fans" that was trying to get everyone to sit down at the games a couple of years ago. We as fans were very fortunate to have Paul Eeals and Mike Nail is a walking Razorback encyclopedia. would you rather have Quinn? If not the announcers we have then who?

Mr. Barrett does a very credible job as a play by play man. Frankly, I like Keith Jackson for his football knowledge, particularly. Who cares if his English isn't perfect. Very few Arkansans speak perfect English. Most of us speak "Southern." Go Hogs! That's my opinion.
