Westbrook attempted to throw on third down. Again,he didn’t have time and scrambled back to the line of scrimmage.
Defenders were breaking through so fast that it appeared Central was attempting a screen play.
In reality, the Tigers were unable to execute an elementary pass play downfield.

Sad times for a once formidable program and a sad ending for one of the true innovators in Arkansas high school athletics. I covered high school sports during a short stay as a sports writer at the Arkansas Democrat (1976-78), and Bernie Cox was one of the rising stars in a sky full of excellent prep coaches - Parkview's Sam Goodwin, NLR Ole Main's Henry Hawks, Catholic's George Loss and the dean of Arkansas prep coaches at that time, Hall's C.W. Koepple.
I hope Bernie will find life full of first downs after leaving Central.
