I see where the Senate voted to extend unemployment compensation for out of work people. This in principle is good but it doesn’t matter if your state has 6% or 10% unemployment, you are still unemployed and need assistance since the Congress is doing nothing to create jobs or bolster the economy. The house buying tax credit is a sham, you are helping those that have jobs instead of creating jobs for people looking for jobs and by the Senates feeble attempt at (what I don’t know)giving a “move up” house buying tax credit is just idiotic. People cannot “move up” if they cannot sell the house they are living in, DAH! Congress is supposed to be aiding the economy instead of these stupid wasteful programs that will create no jobs and won’t help the economy or job creation.
