under construction at The Promenade at Chenal, Chenal Parkway and Rahling Road, Little Rock. Last Sunday’s paper contained a classified ad seeking a general manager, executive chef, front-of-house managers and sous-chefs. Target for the opening of the first Arkansas outlet for the Columbus, Ohio-based chain is still early next spring, although the location still isn’t listed on the chain’s Web site, www.bbrg.com. We’ll keep you posted.

Well, a company spokesman says one is expected to open in Little Rock in the second quarter of 2010 - that would put the target date somewhere between April and June. He couldn’t confirm the reports we’ve received that it will be going into the former

location, 14800 Cantrell Road in west Little Rock. The chain of popular wing and-sports-bars has outlets in Bentonville, Fayetteville, Springdale and Hot Springs. The company Web site is, buffalowildwings.com.

Little Rock’s newest

Chikfil-A, on the front side of the Pleasant Ridge Town Center, 11525 Cantrell Road, opens today. As usual, there’s an opening-day promotion: one free Chik-fil-A meal to the first 100 adults (18 and older) in line when the doors open,sometime between 6 and 6:30 a.m. (Of course, since folks were expected to start lining up 24 hours in advance, those slots may already be gone by the time you read this.) Hours are 6:30 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday-Saturday.
