Enforce noise ordinances I was actually shocked to see the letter from the gentleman complaining about the unnecessary noise that is rapidly on the increase from unmuffled motorcycles, particularly “rolling thunder” Harley-Davidsons.

Like I said before Thomas Sowell is so right of center he never takes a left turn in traffic and Ralph Royer of Hot Springs will be going in the same circle with him. Please tell us all the freedoms we have lost acording to Sowell.

RE: Unions Help Families
Unions are simply democracy at work in the workplace.
Collective bargaining is an integral part of a free-market.
People who decry unions either don't understand these things, or they don't really agree with certain principles of democracy.
Honest conservative Republicans will admit they think democracy places too much power in the hands of "the little people"- who just don't know what's good for them, i.e., a world owned and run by corporations.
Thank God only 17% of voters are registered Republican, but the funny thing is, the majority of them are poor ignorant people living in red states.
Too bad everybody can't be part of that "top two-tenths of one percent".

Unions are not simply democracy at work in a free market. Unions reprsent the barrel of a gun used by union thugs and goons to enforce their orgainzation upon companies that do not want union labor. Secret ballot? what secret ballet?
