Pine Bluff police have arrested a suspect in the city’s 13th homicide of the year.
Officers found Ken Brown lying in a yard about 7:15 p.m. Friday with a single gunshot wound to the chest. Brown was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police arrested 27-year-old Cory O’Neil in connection to the murder. Detectives say he allegedly fired one round from a 9mm semiautomatic handgun from his car while it was parked in the driveway of the home.
Brown and O’Neil were reportedly arguing over money and car rims, and O’Neil was at the scene when officers arrived. He was arrested without incident.
O’Neil is being held at the Jefferson County Detention Facility on suspicion of first-degree murder.
