Bentonville hands Har-Ber 1st defeat, earns No. 1 seed

Bentonville’s defense recorded its fifth shutout of the season, and the Tigers earned the 7AWest’s No. 1 playoff seed with a 17-0 victory over previously undefeated Springdale Har-Ber.

In a matchup between the state’s top-ranked teams, the Tigers (9-1, 6-1) held Har-Ber to nine first downs and 210 total yards.

Arthur Flowers forced a fumble, Nick Gneiting and Dakota Baggett each intercepted Har-Ber’s Ryan Luther, and the Wildcats’ offense never could get in rhythm.
