4 arrested in death of man

Authorities have arrested four men in the death of a man whose badly beaten body was found near the Arkansas River earlier this month.
The Little Rock Police Department and the Pulaski County sheriff's office joined forces in the investigation. Authorities think that Jose Mejia, 57, was killed at an auto repair shop at 4719 Aspen Road and his body dumped on the banks of the river off of River Mountain Road.
Four men — Apolinar Vargas, Jose Espanosa, Alex Vargas and Mario Nieto — were each charged with first degree murder. They are being held at the Pulaski County jail without bond.
