‘Holiday Celebration on Ice’ is coming to town

LITTLE ROCK — On Thursday, Verizon Arena presents “Holiday Celebration on Ice,” with Briano Boitano and champion ice skaters performing to music by REO Speedwagon and Rick Springfield, as reported in Thursday’s Arkansas Weekend section.
Performing Friday at Verizon Arena will be the Country Music Association-nominated, Atlanta-based Zac Brown Brand. The group — Zac Brown, Jimmy De Martini, John Driskell Hopkins, Coy Bowles (guitar, organ), Chris Fryar (drums) and Clay Cook — will be serving up hits like “Chicken Fried” and “Whatever It Is.”
