Middle school sets benefit for Nail family

— Southside Middle School will host a benefit dinner, silent auction and live auction from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Saturday in the school cafeteria. All proceeds will benefit Chris and Caroline Nail, who lost their daughter, Gracie Nail, in October.

The meal will include a barbecue stuffed potato with “ fixings,” drink and dessert. The meal costs $5.

The live auction will begin immediately following the dinner. Silent auction items will be set up Saturday morning in the middle school physical education building.

Bad Boy Mowers of Batesville has donated a multi-terrain vehicle (MTV) to be raffled atthe final game of the annual Lyon College High School Basketball Tournament, set for Saturday, Dec. 5, through Saturday, Dec. 12.

Tickets are $5 each or five for $20.

Tickets may be purchased at any of the Southside School campuses, at the benefit dinner or by calling (870) 251-2332.
