Parkers Chapel found out how tough the Lamar Warriors are with a chip on their shoulders.

The Warriors’ week-delayed, court-ordered playoff appearance was a textbook case of dominance as Lamar beat the Trojans 35-0 in the first round of the Class 3A playoffs Friday at Warrior Field. Lamar (10-1) held Parkers Chapel (8-3) to 71 yards of total offense and three firstdowns.

The Arkansas Activities Association had kicked Lamar out of the playoffs Nov. 6 for using an ineligible player in five conference victories. A court injunction forced the AAA to restore the Warriors to the playoffs, which were suspended for one week.
