Three Union County men have been arrested on suspicion of capital murder and aggravated robbery for the death of a 73-year-old Emerson man.

Columbia County Sheriff Denny Foster says 21-year-old Kevin Easter of Junction City, 20-year-old Jamaria Dontray Crew and 21-year-old Jeremy Laderrick Crew, both of Three Creeks, are being held at the Columbia County jail on $1 million bond each.

Waller’s body was found Nov. 13 about 100 yards down a trail near his home in Emerson. Police say he was beaten and shot, but they haven’t released a cause of death.

Foster said the three men had robbed Waller previously. It wasn’t clear Sunday if the three had attorneys.
