Oh yes, Mayor; don't forget the millions for the I-30 ramp you want to build to access the state fairgrounds.

$6.4 million to CATA??? And my single income family is possibly going to lose that income from lay-offs? It's not like I make enough to have this huge savings account stock piled to fall back on either. Looking at cutting jobs and citizen services, but giving CATA $6.4 million when there are hardly ever any people on the buses!

1) The River Rail should have been funded by a regional improvement tax. Let the restaurants and hotels that benefit from the trolley fund the trolley.
2) I've never ridden the trolley, but I still pay for it? That's just great.
3) That's just a redistribution of wealth...from the citizens to the corporations in the river market area.
4) Cities/Counties subsidize the trolley about $7 per rider. That's insane.
5) Every OTHER business in town should be throwing a fit having their tax dollars sent to their competitors.
