LR escape spurs look at getting jail on ball

Pulaski County sheriff’s Sgt. Michael Yates locks the gate Monday at the satellite jail, located near the main jail. The gate was damaged Sunday by an inmate who escaped by driving a jail van through the secured gate.

Why exactly do we need to be "nice" to prisoners? Heating up a vehicle so they won't be cold...are you kidding me? Wonder if Mr. Morgan has a wife, daughter or son. Wonder if he warms their vehicles up for them? Please, Mr. Morgan, if you need to mentor, do it some other way. I really don't want this kid to get paranoid and do something stupid like break into someone's home or business for a few bucks, or God forbid hurt someone in a desperate act to stay free.
