Is this article really suppose to report news? "conservative" critics accusing Acorn of corruption? What about Congress cutting off funding? There are more Liberals in Congress than there are conservatives.

When the congressional defunding of ACORN went into effect on October 1, there was a continuing resolution in place that would last until October 31 -- this Saturday. The ACORN ban was in that resolution, so it will also expire on Saturday I don't know if it continued past Oct 31 or not. ACORN is bringing a lawsuit as of Nov 12. I also know LA. State investigators raided ACORN offices on Nov 6, taking away computer hard drives and documents as part of a probe into alleged embezzlement ($1-5 million) and tax fraud at the organization's national headquarters in New Orleans. Also more than 200 TAX LIENS have been filed against ACORN TOTALING MORE THAN $3.7 MILLION. It is said the CA trash had documents showing that the California Teachers Association was "funneling information to ACORN for political activity. California Attorney General began a probe of ACORN on Oct. 1, eight days before the documents were dumped. seems to be odd they would simply be cleaning up...concidence.
