Former President Bill Clinton is headlining a fundraiser for U.S. Rep. Mike Ross as he kicks off his re-election bid.

Ross’ re-election campaign on Thursday said the Democratic congressman will kick off his campaign with a $100-a-person reception at the Hot Springs Convention on Oct. 17. Ross has represented the 4th Congressional district in southern Arkansas since 2000.

The only Republican who has announced against Ross is Marc Rosson, a Gillham cattle farmer who ran unsuccessfully for the Arkansas House in 2002.
