For more than 20 years, the CMJ Music Marathon & Film Festival has been showcasing the best in rising musical talent.

Now you don't have to travel to New York for it.

rVibe and CMJ have partnered to stream the showcases live. The festival is set to stream nightly October 20-24th from world famous venues such as The Bowery Ballroom and Le Poisson Rouge.

"We're very excited to be partnered with rVibe for the 2009 CMJ Music Marathon & Film Festival. For decades, CMJ has brought the best of new music to those who want it the most. We can now provide that same live content at high quality in real time to fans across the globe," said Rev Moose, Vice President of Content at CMJ Network, "The showcases rVibe is making available online will give even more weight to the groundbreaking you-had-to-see-it-to-believe-it performances for which CMJ is known."

Users log in, buy a ticket to the event just like they would a live performance, and are able to live stream the fully produced concerts from anywhere there is access to the internet. During the show, users can interact with others watching the show using the live chat feature-creating a shared experience that breaks the barriers of online viewing.

rVibe was created by music lovers who came together with a vision to produce and broadcast high-quality live and on-demand concerts to a world-wide community, creating a fully immersive and interactive online music experience unlike any other.
