I 110% agree with that. It is ridiculous to have to pay to read any kind of news, especially an obituary. Thumbs down to Arkansas!!!!!

This is absolutely absurd! If your newspaper cannot stay in business without charging to read an obituary, then you need to go out of business. What an injustice to families and friends of those who have passed.

Charging to read an OBIT......CRAZY......
Somepeople can't afford the paper everyday, but they do want that ONEDAY b/c a family member passed......then come to the webb.....like alot of people do these days.........
and get told......PAY FOR AN OBIT.........and what about the people that live out of town from here that can't make the funeral.....it would be nice to ATLEAST READ the obit.
PLEASE can't someone that works for ArDemo Gaz change this....???????????

How humorous! I always knew newspapers in Northwest Arkansas were ignorant and biased. That's why I won't
even accept a free copy. There is no sense in trying to make a buck off other people's sorrow. Just another link in the broken downward spiral of greed and sorry editors and newspapers. Thanks...no thanks. DD
