Shows of various sorts for Halloween weekend

— KISS, music’s madmen in makeup, will return to central Arkansas to “Rock and Roll All Nite” Thursday at Verizon Arena in North Little Rock for the Kiss Alive/35 tour.

For more of a homemade show, the improvisational troupe ImprovLittleRock combines the outrageousness of WWE wrestling with improvisational comedy in spandex tights for two “Halloween Headlock” shows Thursday and Friday at the Public Theatre in Little Rock.

Meanwhile, scares of the unsanctified kind lurk in the final days of the 17th annual Haunted Cathedral at EMOBA Museum of Black Arkansans and Performing Arts Center in Little Rock. Local actors and animatronics are at the telltale heart of what’s billed as “Arkansas’ scariest and largest” Halloween event winding up Thursday through Sunday.
