Nobody should be surprised to see the nation’s esteemed celebrity news media align with FOX News against the White House, although even a cynical observer like me found the unanimity mildly shocking.

Gene Lyons just can not get it. One of these days he will be on the "enemies" list (probably not due to his unimportance). Remember the German story about not speaking up.

I beg to differ. Lyons most certainly gets it. I appreciate his speaking up about the way our national media has whored itself out to the right wing.

Most Fox broadcasting is News; some evening Fox broadcasting is opinion. Some of Gene Lyon's work is news, and some, as today, is opinion. He needs to decifer the difference. The WH appears to be basing it's war with Fox on the opinion shows.
