Arkansas sells first Powerball tickets

Arkansas retailers sold the first Powerball tickets Saturday night for a jackpot of at least $20 million. Tickets went on sale at 10:15 p.m.

Lottery tickets are available at about 1,800 retailers in the state, said Ernie Passailaigue, executive director of the Arkansas Lottery Commission.

The jackpot in Wednesday’s Powerball will be at 9:59 p.m. Another drawing will be held weekly at the same time Saturdays.
