Luxora man, 22, dies in 1-car crash

A Luxora man died Thursday after his car ran off U.S. 61 north of Arkansas 148 and overturned in a flooded ditch in Mississippi County, according to a preliminary Arkansas State Police accident report. Shortly after 5 p.m., Alexander Mark Johnson, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene where his 1996 Buick came to rest in the ditch, the report said.
