Barbecue addicts will be able to get a fix this weekend in the small Hot Spring County town of Bismarck.

The Bismarck Business Association says the town's seventh Barbecue Bash will kick off at 5 p.m. Friday and end about 9 p.m. Saturday.

A news release from the group said that, in addition to slurping up messy meat sandwiches, visitors to the festival will be able to browse through booths offering local arts and crafts, fall decorations and fresh produce. Kids will be able to enjoy games, a petting zoo and a blow-up obstacle course.

The association says proceeds from the event are used to provide college scholarships for local students.
