RIVER VALLEY and OZARK AREA — The annual Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce Awards banquet was held on March 6 at the Greenbrier Junior High Scool Cafetorium. Chamber members and Greenbrier residents attended to share a meal. A silent auction began at 5:30 p.m. that evening. The theme of the banquet was "Grand Ole Greenbrier," which Chamber Director Aime Register said was a "nod to a Southern,unstuff type of elegance."
To close the evening, musical entertainment was provided by Nashville-based band Eden's Edge. Board Member Shawn Johnston of First Security Bank said the performance was the grand finale and the Chamber's way of saying thank you to all the sponsors and volunteers that make the 2010 banquet possible.
