THREE RIVERS AREA — Murfreesboro, Tenn., developer and contractor David Waldron became the newest addition to the Harding University Board of Trustees. He joined the board at its semiannual meeting Nov. 5.
Waldron is the owner of Waldron Enterprises, a general contractor for single-family homes and apartments. Prior to joining the board of trustees, Waldron was a member of Harding’s President’s Council and the University Builder’s Circle. Waldron joins 20 other professional men and women on Harding’s governing body.
Also at the meeting, the board elected officers to lead the group. John O. Simmons, a Columbia, Tenn., physician, was elected chairman. Retired engineer Harrell Freeman of Metairie, La., was chosen vice chairman.
