Popular country trio coming to Greenbrier

GREENBRIER Nashville based country artists Eden’s Edge will be in Greenbrier on Saturday, March 6, for the Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce’s annual awards banquet.
Originally based in Arkansas, Hannah Blaylock, Cherrill Green and Dean Berner followed the music to Nashville in 2007 and have been writing, recording and performing ever since. Next month they will open for Randy Travis.
“The Eden’s Edge performance will be our grand finale and the Chamber’s way of saying thank you to all the sponsors and volunteers that make the 2010 banquet possible,” said board member Shawn Johnstonof First Security Bank.
A silent auction will kick off the festivities at 5:30 p.m., dinner will be catered by the Marketplace Grill, and several new awards will be presented.
“This is certainly not the night to stay at home,” said board member Donna Spears of 501 Magazine.
Suggested dress is “cocktail” for women and “business dress” for men. Limited business sponsorships may still be available. For information, call Amie at (501) 679-4009.
Advance-purchase tickets are $35 for members and $40 for nonmembers. The deadline for members’ early-registration discount is Friday, Feb. 26.
