Fundraiser planned for 4-H foundation

CONWAY The Faulkner County Cooperative Extension Service, University of Arkansas, Division of Agriculture, will sponsor a fundraiser for the Faulkner County 4-H Foundation from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Oak Bowery Church Fellowship Hall.
The event will feature a spaghetti supper, followed by silent and live auctions.
Tickets are $5 per person and may be purchased at the door or from any Faulkner County 4-H member. Take-out orders will also be available.
Henry M. Chaney, county extension agent and staff chair, said proceeds from the event will be used to send 4-H members to county, district, state and national camps. Funds generated will also be used tohelp pay for college scholarships.
Chaney said there are 19 4-H community clubs and three project groups in Faulkner County, with a total of 414 youth currently enrolled in the Faulkner County 4-H program.
