Storyteller to appear Tuesday at library

CONWAY Storyteller Frank Jones of Conway will appear at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Faulkner County Library, 1900 Tyler St. There is no admission charge, and the public is invited. Jones is a fourth-generation storyteller. He has dedicated his life to preserving and sharing the culture, folklore, history and heritage of the Ozark people. He has presented his stories at local churches, schools, libraries and the Ozark Folk Center. Aretired minister, Jones spent 30 years telling Bible stories from the pulpit.
His stories for March are “Full Circle at Last: After 44 Years,” a Norwegian folk tale about “Beautiful Rose”; and “He Was Still My Favorite Uncle.”
