State police say three men and a 20-year-old woman are dead after a single-vehicle crash at Fort Smith.

A state police report said a small car crashed about 2:40 a.m. Sunday morning at the intersection of South 14th Street and Arkansas 22, just southeast of Fort Smith’s downtown area.

The report identified those killed as 20-year-old driver Ryan N. Gallegos of Barling and three passengers — 20-year-old Ashlee N. Stamper of Barling; 24-year-old Christopher Strozier of Greenwood; and 21-year-old Justin R. Goins of Greenwood.

According to the accident report, the car was traveling at high speed when the driver lost control in a curve and the vehicle left the road, hitting a traffic-signal pole. The report said the car’s passenger side slammed into the pole.

I wonder why a 10 y/o girl with a different last name than anyone else in the car, was IN the car at that hour with 3 20+ y/o boys.

.

OH my. A different last name!!

A cousin?
A step-brother?
A half-brother?
A neighbor?

Tragedy enough without the unnecessary suspicion.

Ashlee stamper wasn't a 10 year old girl. I don't know why this says she is. I went to high school with her. She's 21 or 22. Her and Ryan were dating and have a 4 month old baby together. The other two guys were mutual friends of theirs. This is such a sad day. Their poor little boy will never know his parents.
