Investigators with the North Little Rock Police Department enter the scene of a home invasion stabbing.

A woman was stabbed multiple times during a home invasion this afternoon in North Little Rock, police said.

It happened about 1:15 p.m. at 1505 N. Poplar St. The victim's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

North Little Rock Police Department Officer Carmen Green said a black man forced his way into the home and then stabbed the woman at least two times.

The victim did not recognize her attacker. It was unclear if the incident was a robbery attempt.

"It's all under investigation right now," Green said. "We don't know what the motive was yet."

The attacker fled the scene in an unknown direction and has not been located.

The woman, whose name was not released, was taken to Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock by ambulance.
