Police investigating armed robbery in LR

— Authorities in Little Rock are trying to find two robbers who pointed a gun at a man and a woman and then forced them to withdraw money from an ATM.

It started shortly after 9:30 p.m. Thursday at Pleasant Point Apartments, 1602 Green Mountain Drive, police said.

Little Rock Police Department spokesman Lt. Terry Hastings said two unknown black men approached the driver's window of a car there and pointed a gun at the driver, 26-year-old Corey Wheeler. The men then forced the driver and the passenger, 23-year-old Jamie Holland, to drive to Summit Bank at Arcade Drive and Market Street, where they withdrew cash.

The robbers also took a cell phone, an XBox, a game and one of the victims' wallets.

No arrests have been made and detailed descriptions of the robbers were not available.
