— A man fired a gun into the air during a bank robbery before making off with an undisclosed amount of cash Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.

The suspect was later nabbed by police, who identified him as Fredrick Williams, 55.

The holdup happened at the Bank of America at 3500 South University near UALR.

According to Sgt. Cassandra Davis of the Little Rock Police Department, a man entered the bank at 2:45 p.m. and demanded money.

The man fired at least one round into the ceiling and fled after receiving an undisclosed amount of money, Davis said. No one was injured.
