Small quakes jar central Arkansas

— Several small earthquakes rattled Faulkner County in central Arkansas early this week.

There were no reports of damage or injuries.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the first quake had a magnitude of 1.6 and occurred about 7:32 p.m. Monday 4 miles north northeast of Guy. Another one of the same magnitude occurred about an hour later in the same location.

The survey says a third temblor, with a magnitude of. 2.0, occurred about 10:16 p.m. Monday about a mile west-southwest of Lynn.

Another quake, with a 1.8 magnitude, occurred about 3 miles northeast of Guy about 10:37 p.m. Monday, and a fifth quake, which had a magnitude of 1.9, occurred about 4 miles north-northeast of Guy about 4:16 a.m. Tuesday.
