Authorities have identified a man who was found dead in his Little Rock home.
Police don’t have a cause of death for 44-year-old Charles Vinning but they are working the case as a homicide.
Pulaski County Coroner Garland Camper says officers found Vinning Wednesday night after his co-workers at the Clinton Library called police when he didn’t come to work.
Officers responding to Vinning’s house spoke with Vinning’s friend who said when he went into the home to check on his friend, he smelled a foul odor and found Vinning on the floor.
The friend left the home and called 911.
Police say the body was decomposed and believe it may have been inside the residence for several days.
