ISLAMABAD, Pakistan — Intelligence officials say U.S. missiles have killed 16 suspected militants in Pakistan’s South Waziristan tribal region.
Six missiles struck a compound in the Nazai Narai area near the Afghan border before dawn Saturday.
Two intelligence officials say some foreigners were among the dead.
The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to media on the record.
