An Arkansas Department of Corrections officer was killed in Jefferson County Sunday when his girlfriend backed into him with her car, the department said in a news release Tuesday.
Jackie Davis died at a private home inside the Tucker Max Correctional Facility on Sunday, said Department of Corrections spokesman Dina Tyler.
