Three arrested after robbery at Cabot restaurant

— Authorities in Cabot reported arresting three men who robbed an employee at a local pizza restaurant and fled the scene.

Shane Keddy, 21, Grady Demery Jr., 26, and Jeremy Best, 20, are each facing a charge of robbery in the Wednesday night incident, said Cabot Police Department Sgt. Brent Lucas.

Demery and Best are accused of approaching Pizza Pro manager Dana Hicks at the restaurant, 906 S. Pine St., pushing her to the ground and putting a possible, unidentified weapon to her back. The men told her to "give it" to them several times before she handed over her purse, police said.

Another employee followed the men as they fled in white car driven by Keddy. Police spotted it traveling south on Kerr Station Road and later stopped it on Highway 321 and Funtastic Drive. All three occupants were arrested there without incident.

The employee who followed the men told police the purse was thrown from the vehicle on Plaza Blvd. It was found there and then returned to Hicks.

No weapon was located on any of the men or in the car, Lucas said.
