Two people killed in Boone County

UPDATE:

One man has been arrested in the shooting deaths of a married couple Wednesday night in Boone County.

Authorities say 55-year-old William Curtis Krohn is suspected of killing Christine Ann Pryor, 57, and her husband, William Eugene Pryor, 56, over a property and alcohol dispute. No other details on the motive were immediately known.

Deputies responded to 19001 Old Lowery Road in Omaha shortly before 6 p.m. and found the couple's bodies in the living room of their mobile home.

Krohn, a former Lemay, Mo. resident who lives in a mobile home on the same property, was identified as the suspect and subsequently arrested. He is being held without bond and is expected to be arraigned on murder charges Friday.

Authorities reported seizing a number of firearms from the property. The victims were shot with a "small caliber type weapon," Sheriff Danny Hickman said in a statement.

Authorities say two people were killed Wednesday night in northern Boone County.

Sheriff Danny Hickman said in a statement that the two unidentified people were slain in an Omaha residence. One person was reportedly taken in for questioning.

No specifics on the crime have yet been released because it is an "ongoing investigation," Hickman said in the statement. Reached by phone, he also declined comment.

"Investigators are continuing their inquiry into the matter," he wrote.
