— Police say siblings fought; 1 stabbed

Deputies arrested a Pulaski County man Thursday evening over accusations that he stabbed his brother during an argument at the home they share near Sweet Home.

About 8 p.m., deputies were called to 4012 Neely Road where they found 58-year-old Lorenzo Hill with a large cut in his abdomen, Pulaski County sheriff’s office spokesman Lt. Carl Minden said.

Deputies then arrested Hill’s brother, Anthony Hill, 42, who was still at the home, Minden said.

Lorenzo Hill was taken by helicopter to Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock where he was in surgery as of 10:15 p.m., Minden said.

Later Thursday evening, deputies charged Anthony Hill with first-degree domestic battery in the stabbing and took him to the Pulaski County jail, Minden said.

Investigators were still working to determine why Anthony Hill purportedly stabbed his brother, but the two had been arguing earlier in the evening, requiring deputies to respond at the brothers’ small, peach-colored home, Minden said.

At 6:35 p.m., one of the brothers called the sheriff’s office, saying the two were arguing and one had thrown something at the other, Minden said. Deputies arrived about 10 minutes later but didn’t find reason to arrest either man, Minden said. They left about 7:15 p.m.

About 40 minutes later they returned when a woman called 911 to report the stabbing, he said. Investigators later found a knife in a nearby ditch that is thought to have been used to cut Lorenzo Hill, Minden said.

Already jailed, two net robbery counts

Two men wanted in at least two Little Rock home invasion robberies last month were in the Conway County jail Thursday evening, according to arrest reports.

William Zachary Bailey, 21, of 18353 Winbury Cove in East End and Brandon Dale Johnson, 19, of 3102 Travis Parkway in Bryant were served Tuesday with warrants charging them in the June 13 robberies, according to the arrest reports and jail records.

Johnson and Bailey were involved in two home-invasion robberies at Crestwood Manor Apartments, 3802 Kavanaugh Blvd., and Chapel Ridge at Stagecoach apartments, 9400 Stagecoach Road, where the robbers wielded handguns, the reports said.

Bailey was also charged in another home-invasion robbery that occurred the same day at 5616 Base Line Road, the reports said. The two men were served with the robbery warrants at the jail. The report doesn’t indicate how the two men came to be in custody.

Bailey faces six counts of aggravated robbery and theft as well as three counts of aggravated residential burglary, the reports said.

Johnson faces four counts of aggravated robbery and theft as well as two counts of aggravated residential burglary, the report said.
