Pulaski County Clerk Pat O’Brien has won the Democratic nomination for secretary of state.

According to incomplete and unofficial returns in Tuesday’s runoff election, O’Brien topped opponent Mark Wilcox, who’s the state’s outgoing land commissioner.

O’Brien faces Republican state Rep. Mark Martin in the fall.
